OpenStreet Maps: Location update failure

Kindly note that I am currently in trial phase for the GSM Tracker (v3.21) application on a Nokia N97 handset. Prior to this I have employed the product successfully on another Nokia device.

I write with regards to a situation I am facing with the N97 installation. Presently the location updates on OpenStreet map are not visible despite an active & working GPSGate account. Following is the URL currently in use:

Note that despite successful update messages by the device, the URL above does not reflect the present position.

I would be highly appreciative of your assistance with addressing the above situation.

Dear Gaurav,

The situation you reported is normal. It is not an error.

Aspicore GSM Tracker can send the GPS position either to the server http://www.toimii.com or to the GPSGate server. They are alternative services. It is not possible to use them both together.

By default Aspicore GSM Tracker sends position updates to http://www.toimii.com and you can see the OpenStreetMap position there updating.

When you configure Aspicore GSM Tracker to send positions to your GPSGate account, then the OpenStreetMap page at http://www.toimii.com does not anymore show an updated position for your phone.

If you want to restore Aspicore GSM Tracker sending positions to http://www.toimii.com you can either modify the server address and the protocol settings on the "Net" and the "Http" tabs or you can uninstall and reinstall GSM Tracker to restore the original settings.
